Bear Steals Toyota Prius

The McCarthy's of Lake Tahoe has their Toyota Prius broken into last week by a mischievous black bear. It's bad enough that we have to worry about humans stealing car, when mother nature get involved perhaps it shows we're headed in the right direction when marketing green autos.

 

The McCarthy's called for help by contacting the sheriff's department, but as soon as their call ended, the car was gone.

With the 2012 Toyota Plug-In Prius fast approaching, there's no like the present to test the car's capabilities. And, that's exactly what Toyota is doing. In fact, the Japanese automaker has just released initial results from testing done with the cooperation of EDF Energy, in London.
