2012 Toyota Prius V

"2012 Toyota Prius v has reason to be smug," this quote from Detroit News has a valid point - for once the "S" word is not an insult, but a compliment to the legacy of Prius models, and the new "Prius Family."1

There's a new line of hybrid cars coming to Tri-State Toyota, located at 191 West Main Street, Dudley, MA, 01571 - which includes the larger sibling Toyota Prius v.

Toyota is aiming to introduce a new models, including the original Prius, a compact, van size (MPV) and more to a green car loving public.

This years Prius model is larger than the 10 year old sedan. But that is not the reason you really test drive a Prius. So why do you test drive a Prius?

  • 500 miles on a single charge
  • 44 mpg city
  • 40 mpg highway

Prius v sits on a bigger platform, seating 5 comfortably. With all this room, you need a bit more horsepower. That comes from the 80 horsepower gas powerplant, with help from two electric motors that brings it up to 134 hp and 153 pound-feet of torque. While it may not blast through stop signs and traffic lights,  the roomier 5 door hybrid is actually larger than the competitions' crossover models.

You can take off in a Prius v today, starting at only $27,160 before tax incentives.
