Toyota Prius G Adds an Aggressive Edge in Japan

Since day one, Toyota has been dedicated to increasing the appeal of their lauded hybrid, the Prius. This year, the Japanese automaker added a few new models to the Prius family, giving it a much greater appeal. The new Prius vehicles offer things one single Prius could not, from greater cargo room to more fuel economy. Down the line, Toyota even plans on introducing a smaller version of the Prius. In case you were wondering, yes, there really is a Prius for everyone.
Okay, maybe not everybody wants a Prius, after all, there are those who want a vehicle that looks more aggressive. Thankfully, Toyota hasn't forgotten about them either, and they're planning to launch yet another Prius model in Japan to prove it.
Officially named the Toyota Prius G, this version is actually based on the existing top-tier S trim of the original
Toyota
Prius. The Prius G features a body kit to give it an
edgier appeal, along with 18-inch aluminum wheels and red and black racing stripes. Not only does it have an agressive look, the vehicles suspension has been
reworked by Gazoo Racing. Under the hood, however, Toyota has decided to keep the
same hybrid powertrain that defines the most popular hybrid in the world. Unfortunately, the Toyota Prius G won't have an extra boost of power to match
its new look. But along with an aggressive style, it will still be a fuel-saving hybrid!
So has the Toyota Prius G caught your eye? Or do you prefer a different Prius model? Feel free to leave us a comment to let us know. Tri-State Toyota, located at 191 West Main Street, Dudley, MA, 01571, would love to know what you think!
